Goals apvienot juridiskās personas, kā arī neformālas vienas specialitātes ārstu grupas, kuru profesionālā interese ir saistīta ar pediatriju un tās apakšspecialitātēm, lai uz kopēju interešu pamata veiktu sabiedriskā labuma darbību - rūpētos par bērnu ārstu izglītību, profesionālo izaugsmi, vērtīgākās pieredzes apgūšanu, radošo spēju izkopšanu un kompetentas informācijas sniegšanu sabiedrībai par bērnu slimībām, tādējādi veicinot bērnu veselību un kvalitatīvas specializētas aprūpes pieejamību bērniem Latvijā;
veicināt jaunu speciālistu sagatavošanu bērnu pediatrijā un tās apakšspecialitātēs atbilstoši starptautiskām prasībām, kas dotu tiesības Latvijā izglītību ieguvušiem bērnu ārstiem bez ierobežojumiem brīvi pārvietoties un strādāt savā profesijā Eiropas Kopienas valstīs, kā arī konkurēt ar ārvalstu kolēģiem Latvijas darba tirgū;
savas kompetences robežās sasniegt iespējami augstu bērnu specializētas medicīniskās aprūpes līmeni Latvijā, kas nodrošinātu ārstu profesijas prestižu valsts un starptautiskā līmenī un dotu morālu un materiālu gandarījumu par darbu profesijā;
veidot ciešus saites starp Biedrības biedriem, lai atbalstītu un koordinētu viņu darbību, veicināt un attīstīt solidaritāti starp dažādu specialitāšu bērnu ārstiem valsts un starptautiskā līmenī;
veikt bērnu ārstu sertifikāciju.
